- A fully hydrostatic slide plus hydrostatic screw are used for infeed axis (Z-axis) and workpiece traveling axis (X-axis), thereby ensuring smooth positioning on the order of a nano-meter without backlash. A vertical tool traveling shaft (Y-axis) is added to allow non-axisymmetric machining.
- Higher profile accuracy and better roughness on the machined surface are provided by non-contact drive system, smooth fine feed and high-resolution positioning accuracy.
- Compatible with fly cutting by diamond tool
- An on-machine measuring system is mounted on the machine to evaluate and analyze the workpiece profile on the machine and to allow automatic programming of error correction machining software with respect to the design value.
On-machine workpiece measurement and compensation machining functions are also provided.
